Posted January 27, 2016 at 9:38pm by iClarified
Apple is planning to introduce a new iPad Air 3 at a March press event, reports 9to5Mac. The new iPad is expected to launch alongside the much rumored 4-inch iPhone 5se and new Apple Watch bands.

A recently leaked diagram, allegedly of the iPad Air 3, reveals a rear facing LED flash and the presence of four integrated speakers at the top and bottom of the device.

Apple is hoping to boost iPad sales by introducing new Education features to iOS including: Shared iPad, Classroom App, Apple School Manager, Managed Apple IDs, and more. You can learn more about the education features coming in iOS 9.3 here.

The event is also expected to launch a 4-inch iPhone 5se which reportedly features a faster A9 processor, an M9 chip with support always-on Siri, 1GB to 1.2GB of RAM, a 1624mAh battery, 16GB and 64GB storage options, NFC, Live Photos, and more.

The Apple Watch is expected to get new colored Sport bands and Hermes bands, a black Milanese Loop, and a band made out of a new material. The company will likely debut watchOS 2.2 at the event which brings support for pairing your iPhone with multiple Apple Watches.

So every time Apple get's a new idea they are just going to up and release it a trickle at a time? Cook's way of helping what, his dropping stock price while pissing off customers. We miss you Steve!

Last I checked Apple was a business and stock value is all that matters. And yes true what was done in the past was incredible by Jobs I might add, now its just a freefall to the bottom. Nothing new just more tweaks to existing products ... give me a break!

Last time it has reaches low was back sometime in the beginning of the 21st century. These so-called tweaks are some original ideas they have done that competition is clearly copying for a reason! Give it a rest!

No force touch? Is the glass too big for it to work well?

For how thin iPads are with the pressure it's easily severe to, that's why.

They should do 4K display next year. If they do it now, people who bought the iPad Pro will hate Apple.

It's not looks that may matter to most people if they want a pro powered device. I'm more concerned if the headphone jack will be removed on iPad Air 3.

I upgrade my iPads than my iPhone. I like the iPad Air/Astropad/Adonit/Macbook Pro combination because it gave me an alternative option to get a Wacom Cintiq for my digital drawings. Now the iPad pro came out, I'll wait for them to release the iPad pro 2/Apple Pencil for my next upgrade from iPad Air. Will keep my iPad Air for my wife. It is now Apple's trend to release bit by bit upgrades on all of their devices. So maybe if you are planning to upgrade to it 3years max and for computers at least 5years. The good thing about their Apple devices is iOS upgrades are still applicable on older models which feels like new in every update.

iPad1(just a giant iPhone)->iPad2(good looks!! and a lot faster!!)->iPad3(finally retina display on iPad!!)->iPad4(worst upgrade!! only difference from iPad3 to 4 is the lightning cable port!!)->iPad Air1(super slim!! very fast too!!)->iPad Air2(TouchID!!Super light!!more faster!! new GPU technology!!)->iPad Air3(nothing new.. ehhh 4 speakers!!! which nobody cares!! oh and no force touch) this year will be not so exciting for iPad lovers.

iPad 1: A bigger version of the iPod touch. iPad 2: slimmer and faster. iPad 3: Yes Retina display. iPad 4: decent upgrade with a boost with the processor with lightning. iPad Air: everything you mentioned with 64bit computer apps made for it. iPad Air 2: Now capable of multitasking with 2gb ram with Apple Pay. iPad Air 3: so far this. Not families if not released yet so... Don't give your hopes up! It makes sense to not have force touch because of how pressure in iPad screen can affect it for how thin it is with the shell itself. I'm a huge iPad lover and to show more advantages I am running OS X with iOS controls on a jailbreak iPad Peo! Boom!

lets be real. iPad 4 wasn't that great of performance increase. it was close to 10% performance increase or something stupid number. its quite obvious when you factor in that iPad 4 released 3-4 months after iPad 3 released.(Apple didn't even announced it because it was literally no upgrade except lightning port) And this.. iPad Air 3 or whatever they gonna call it, its quite obvious that they cannot put force touch screen on giant screen like iPads. but Apple doesn't have anything new feature to put in other than force tough. 4 speakers isn't really appealing on 9.7" iPads... And even if they have new features to put in, I'm sure Apple will hold it till iPhone 7 launches. so idk.. i probably stay with my iPad Air 2

Say what you want about the iPad 4 and all, but it does have that performance I'm trying to refer to because of the chip names with X in it. About what you said about it not being announced. That's the same case with MacBooks. It's not bad but if anything released as on update to stay with powerful technology and that's probably what the iPad 4 was about, but hey with lightning, at least it's giving people options with whatever they need more with or whatever they're happy with.
