ADE-Germany will soon release a Rihanna model kitchen scale which incorporates an iPod docking station, according to GizMag.
The iPod dock sits above the 42.5 x 20 mm LCD display and sends the sounds down to a 2-Watt speaker that lies beneath the safety glass surface of the weighing area and shouldn't interfere with accurate measurement as it booms out your favorite tunes.
Playback control is taken care of on the player itself and the volume via the base of the scales. AC mains power input for the unit falls in the 100 to 240V range at 50Hz while the LCD is powered by a Lithium battery.
The scale can handle up to 5kg in 1g steps. It has an add and weigh tare function as well as a battery indicator.
The Rihanna will be available in black/silver for around €70 (about USD$105).
