Apple Maps Now Supports Lane Guidance in Five More Countries

Apple has added support for Lane Guidance to Maps in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Lane guidance suggests which lane to use when making a turn. It's particularly helpful on large highways.
