Apple is planning to begin production of its new 16-inch MacBook Pro next month, according to IHS Markit analyst Jeff Lin via Forbes. A monthly production volume of 39,000 units is expected.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro will likely use Intel's latest Coffee Lake H mobile processors. Released in the second quarter of 2019, the 45-watt processors are Intel's fastest mobile processors to date featuring up to 8-cores. They are the same processors used in the current generation 15.4-inch MacBook Pro. Additionally, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is expected to have a display with a pixel density of 227 pixels per inch, the same as 13.3-inch MacBook Pro.
Lin also believes that Apple will end production of the 15.4-inch MacBook Pro.
The "15.4 [inch] MacBook [Pro] will...end production...Nov’19," Lin said. "We think 15.4 [inch] MacBook volumes will shift to 16 [inch]," he added.
In a follow up, Lin says that "it is confirmed from OEM & panel supplier" that production for the 15.4-inch MacBook Pro will end in November. "I am pretty sure that MacBook 15.4” will be EOL [End-of-Life]," he added.

Wonderful. More unimaginative products that none of us really need.

What kind of imagination/innovation do you expect? Did you knock down Google and Microsoft when they release their new computers? How about hp or any other competition?
