Laptop Webcam Quality Comparison [Video]

With much of the world forced to do business from home, which laptop offers the best quality webcam?

The WSJ has posted a video comparing the webcam quality of some of the most popular laptops. This includes the new 2020 MacBook Air.


Unfortunately, as you may already know, they're all horrible. The MacBook Air is a near perfect device but it's equipped with an outdated 720p camera that performs badly, especially in low light.

Though not great, the winning device was the Pixelbook Go. If you're doing a lot of video conferencing these days we'd suggest adding an external webcam. Logitech makes many of the most popular options including the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920, C925-e, and others.
