Creaceed has announced the immediate release and availability of Hydra 2.2. The upgrade addresses a major feature request from the HDR user community: an HDR Plug-In for Adobe's Photoshop Lightroom. All Hydra's features are from now on available directly in the Lightroom workflow.
What's new in Hydra 2.2? Hydra's HDR Plug-In supports Lightroom 2 (32-bit and 64-bit architectures). All features of Hydra's Stand-Alone Version are available in the Lightroom Plug-In.
What is Hydra? Hydra goes beyond the physical limitations of camera sensors. From a series of regular photographs of the same scene (some overexposed and some underexposed), Hydra creates an High Dynamic Range (HDR) image which is much closer to what your eyes actually see.
Main Features: * Up to 10 Input Images * 2 Image Alignment Techniques * 3 Tone Mappers * Loupe for previewing the HDR Image in 1:1 full quality * Pro Options for tuning every step of the image processing pipeline * Fullscreen Mode * Plug-In for Aperture 2 and 3 * Plug-In for Lightroom 2 * 32-bit and 64-bit Support * HDR Image Rendering from a single RAW photograph * Real-Time Preview.
Pricing and Availability: A time-unlimited trial version of Hydra and the Lightroom Plug-In is available in English, French, German, Italian and Japanese on Creaceed's website. The demo version generates watermarked image files. A license key for Hydra 2.x costs $79.95 (USD), and can be used for registering both the stand-alone version and the Plug-Ins. The upgrade is free for Hydra 2.x registered users. The upgrade from Hydra 1.x costs $19.95 (USD). Media licenses are available for members of the press upon request.
