Apple may update the iPhone 14 Pro with rounder corners, according to designer Ian Zelbo.
In a post on AppleTrack, Zelbo notes that the corner radius of the iPhone 13 Pro doesn't match the camera bump. With the company set to increase the size of the rear camera assembly on the iPhone 14 Pro, that difference would become even more pronounced.
Based on schematics and CAD files that have leaked, the designer believes Apple is planning to update the iPhone 14 Pro with rounder corners to better match the camera bump. This will translate to rounder corners for the display as well.
Apple has rounded the corners of the iPhone 14 Pro significantly, finally addressing the odd look on the iPhone 13 Pro. While this will reduce space in the status bar, the iPhone 14 Pro is said to feature a 'pill + hole' cutout design which could restore some space previously taken up by the notch.
