Apple Watch Series 8 Rumored to Feature Flat Display

The next generation Apple Watch is once again rumored to feature a flat display.

Last year, Apple was widely expected to release a redesigned Apple Watch Series 7 that had a flat display and flat edges. This design was leaked by Jon Prosser and confirmed by multiple other sources. However, to everyone's surprise, the Apple Watch Series 7 did not get a new body, only a slightly larger screen.

Both before and after the unveiling, there was speculation that the leaked design could have been from a prototype that would be unveiled further down the road. Now, leaker ShrimpApplePro, who correctly predicted the Apple Watch Series 7 design, says this year's new Apple Watch will get a flat display.


Heard from source today that there is a flat front glass display for apple watch display. High chance that this is the front glass for the Apple Watch Series 8. Haven’t heard any on how’s the redesign housing nor which model yet. illustration image only not real.

Given what happened last year, it's impossible to confirm that Apple will update its smartwatch with flat front glass; however, we'll be keeping our eye out for leaked components and other reports that could corroborate the possibility.
