AirPods Pro 2 May Still Use Lightning Port, USB-C to Arrive Next Year [Kuo]

Apple's new AirPods Pro 2, expected to arrive later this year, may still use a Lightning port, according to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Notably, Kuo predicts that USB-C will arrive for all AirPods models next year.

I predict Apple will launch USB-C-capable charging cases for all AirPods models in 2023. However, the charging case of the new AirPods Pro 2 launched in 2H22 may still support Lightning.

Currently, Apple's AirPods Pro are on sale for 28% off, bringing their price down from $249 to $179.99.
