USB-C Port Components for iPhone 15 Allegedly Leaked [Images]

USB-C port components for the iPhone 15 have allegedly been leaked ahead of the smartphone's unveiling. Apple is expected to switch all four iPhone 15 models from Lightning to USB-C to remain in compliance with EU law.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), users @lipilipsi and @John011235 shared images of the USB-C flex cable component for the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

We've already seen a lot of iPhone 15 leaks this year. While the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro are both expected to get Dynamic Island and Ceramic Shield; rumors have suggested that the iPhone 15 Pro will have thinner bezels, a titanium frame, and 8GB of RAM.


The iPhone 15 Pro will likely utilize an A17 Bionic chip made with TSMC's 3nm process, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will stick with the A16 Bionic and 6GB of RAM. All four models will purportedly have a USB-C port and Qualcomm's 5G Snapdragon X70 modem.

Finally, it's predicted the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a periscope telephoto lens for better optical zoom while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could get a 48MP rear camera lens.
