Apple Releases iOS 26 Beta 9 and iPadOS 26 Beta 9 [Download]

Apple has released iOS 26 beta 9 and iPadOS 26 beta 9 to developers for testing. The build number is 23A5336a. This follows the release of beta eight last week.

iOS beta gives you an early preview of upcoming apps, features, and technologies. Please back up your iPhone before you install the beta.

The last betas reintroduced notification summaries for news apps, tweaked the appearance of Liquid Glass, and introduced numerous changes including improvements to control center, new ringtones, responsive wallpaper, and more.

Developers can download the new build at the link below. Alternatively, you can visit the Settings > General > Software Update page and choose iOS 26 Developer Beta from the Beta Updates row. We still recommend installing it on a device dedicated to development.
