Instrucciones para permitir el uso de Skype en 3G. Por omisión tu solo puedes usar Skype en Wi-Fi

Para que puedas seguir estas instrucciones es necesario que tu iPhone esté desbloqueado (jailbreak). Puedes encontrar instrucciones de cómo desbloquear tu iphone aquí: Windows, Mac

Paso Uno
Baja e instala Skype de App Store. Lo puedes hacer desde iTunes o desde tu iPhone.

Cómo permitir las llamadas de Skype en 3G

Paso Dos
Presiona para abrir Cydia desde tu pantalla de inicio (SpringBoard).

Paso Tres
Presiona para seleccionar la pestaña Sections al final de la pantalla.

Paso Cuatro
Presiona para seleccionar la sección System

Paso Cinco
Presiona para seleccionar Mobile Substrate de la lista de paquetes.

Paso Seis
Si tienes Mobile Substrate instalado asegúrate que sea la versión número 0.9.2805-1o mayor. Si el número de la versión es menor entonces debes actualizarlo a la última versión presionando el botón Upgrade en el extremo superior izquierdo de la pantalla.

Si no tienes Mobile Substrate instalado entonces presiona el botón Install en el extremo superior de la pantalla.

Paso Siete
Presiona el botón Confirm para que comience la instalación.

Paso Ocho
Una vez que la instalación se haya completado exitosamente presiona el botón grande Reload SpringBoard.

Paso Nueve
Una vez que la pantalla inicial (SpringBoard) se haya vuelto a cargar presiona Cydia para abrir otra vez.

Paso Diez
Presiona para seleccionar la pestaña Sections al final de la pantalla.

Paso Once
Presiona para seleccionar la sección System.

Paso Doce
Presiona para seleccionar VoIPOver3G de la lista de paquetes.

Paso Trece
Presiona el botón Install en el extremo superior derecho de la pantalla.

Paso Catorce
Presiona el botón Confirm para que comience la instalación.

Paso Quince
Una vez que la instalción se hay completado exitosamente presiona el botón grande Return to Cydia.

Paso Diesciseis
Presiona el botón Home después presiona para abrir Skype desde la pantalla inicial (SpringBoard).

Paso Diescisiete
Selecciona un contacto para llamar desde la pestaña Contacts.

Paso Diesciocho
Presiona el botón Call para llamar a tu contacto.

Paso Diescinueve
Nota que ahora la llamada se completa sobre la red 3G!

NOTAS IMPORTANTES:
Existen más aplicaciones que no funcionan correctamente con Skype y que pueden causar mal funcionamiento mientras se trata de usar la aplicación. Necesitarías desinstalar una o todas las aplicaciones hasta que estén actualizadas para funcionar bien con Skype.

hi guys ... im facing a problem right now .... i cant seem to find mobile substrate on cydia ... i dont know why ... !! is there a repository i need to add before it appears in the library ... ?! but i tried using it through 3G Unrestrictor. it signs into skype and signs me out automatically within 15-20 seconds... .!! i am using a 3G with version 3.0 please advise .....

Hello, I hv got iphone 3gs, 3.1. did install mob. substrate & also voip over 3g but dosent work. also mob. substrate is not on cydia. u needto manually search fr it. fr some reason i hv uninstalled everything (skype, voip...,mob substrate) & reinstalled but nothing. hv also noticed that mob substrate does not uninstall. it still shows up. initially the thing worked, after which i installed winterboard & vwallpaper & after that the skype thing has gone downhilll..... HELP!!!!

Skype connects on my jailbroken 3GS with Tmobile's Edge internet. BUT when I place a call, the other party does not hear me and always disconnects after couple seconds. Is there a way to resolve this issue? Thanks!

I think skype will only work fine with 3G, not edge.

Hey i have the new 3gs, jailbroken with 3.0.1..Cydia does not have MOBILE SUBSTRATE in systems, what should i do?move on to the next step or canx??plus its not dialing out of area, its jus dialing local numbers from my contacts list...

all calls cost money dude! it´s just skype to skype as is free.

LOL.then y we had to go thorugh all this installation processes,we could just dload skype app on iphone and start using it with wifi!!!

i removed clipy and skype works no prob. put it back on - skype crashes non stop. for me removing clipy was the answer.
