TomTom lancia il kit GPS per iPhone il 22 Settembre?

TomTom ha contattato i giornalisti e li ha invitati ad un evento che avrà luogo il 22 Settembre, come riferito da iPhoneClub.nl.

L'invito dice così:

Caro giornalista,

“TomTom ti svelerà il futuro della navigazione”, Martedì 22 Settembre (dalle 10:30 fino alle 14:00) ... Memorizza la data!

E' possibile che questo evento verrà usato per lanciare il molto chiaccherato Kit GPS per Auto per iPhone. Il kit contiene il software di navigazione della TomTom per iPhone ed un supporto specificatamente sviluppato per offrire una sicura base di docking in auto, migliorate prestazioni del GPS, istruzioni a voce chiare, chiamate senza mani e carica batteria.

E' anche possibile che l'evento sia per qualche prodotto completamente diverso. Rimani sintonizzato ...

Totally agreed. I don't know what TomTom was thinking. There were even mentioned by Apple at WWDC and all other cometitors like Navigon, iGo, Sygic (Sygic sucks) beat them already.... A little too late, TomTom....you lost alot of customers....IMO

FYI TomTom has been around awhile with GPS just in case you missed the past 10 years.

Think you missed the point Jay.. Tomtom is a great gps maker.. but is going to lose the race for iPhone GPS to Sygic & Navigon... cheaper just as effective and no need for extra crap to attach your phone to.. its an iPhone tomtom.. not a mobile phone...

You don't need the extra car holder for use TomTom... It's only an additional accesorry for better GPS admission and more comfortable use in the car...
