Hoe Breng je een Iphone in DFU Toestand

DFU betekent Device Firmware Update. Als een restore via de Recovery Mode niet werkt, dan kun je nog gebruik maken
van de DFU Mode als een laatste redmiddel. Als je je Iphone in de DFU Mode plaatst, laad het niet het OS
maaar probeert eerst te restoren.

Om de Iphone in DFU mode te krijgen, zodat je een iTunes firmware restoring kunt doen, volg deze stappen:

Stap Eén
Open iTunes en verbind je Iphone met de Mac.

Stat Twee
Druk en hou de Home button en de Sleep/Wake button tegelijkertijd ingedrukt.

Stap Drie
Na precies 10 seconden, laat de Sleep/Wake button los. Hou de home button ingedrukt tot iTunes
komt met een popup bericht waarin staat dat het een iPhone heeft gevonden in recovery mode.

Het iPhone scherm blijft zwart zoals deze:

NOTE***: Het kan zijn dat je meerdere keren moet proberen om je iPhone in DFU mode te krijgen.
Normaal gesproken hou ik beide buttons ingedrukt en dan laat ik de Home button los vlak voordat ik denk dat
het Apple logo op het scherm verschijnt. Als je nog steeds beide buttons ingedrukt houd en
het Apple logo verschijnt, dan hou je de buttons te lang ingedrukt!

For iPhone 7/7+ you need to press the volume down button.

hey I just got an iPod touch 5th generation and it was my but he's ex-girlfriends when they broke up she gave it back to him but never told her iTunes password how do I get around that and restored to factory settings any idea?

yea usually a stolen iDevice or bought from a third party without knowing about find my iphone..

Very narrow minded to think that the phone is stolen. I am a company admin and deal with all the time when ex employees put their personal icloud account on my corporate phones. This is also not uncommon for people buying/selling used phones. If the seller does not go through the setup and deactiavte the account, the buyer will have issues.
