Dette er instruksjoner for å låse opp og jailbreake iPhone 2G m/iPhone 3.0 programvare vha. RedSn0w for Windows. Før du begynner, sørg for å oppdatere til iTunes 8.2.

Steg 1
Opprett en mappe, kalt Pwnage på skriverbordet ditt.

Last ned følgende filer og flytt/plasser disse i Pwnage-mappen som du nettopp laget:
- RedSn0w
- BL 3.9
- BL 4.6
- 3.0.0 (2G): iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

Pakk ut RedSn0w zip-filen til Pwnage-mappen.

Hvordan låse opp/Jailbrake iPhone 2G m/OS 3.0 vha. RedSn0w for Windows.

Steg 2
Koble iPhonen til maskinen og start iTunes.

Velg iPhonen i fra listen over enheter til venstre. Hold deretter inne Shift-tasten og klikk på Gjenopprett knappen. Gjenopprett er foretrukket ettersom dette ikke opptar unødvendig plass på iPhonen.

Naviger til Pwnage-mappen på skrivebordet og velg programvare/firmware ipsw-filen. Trykk Åpne knappen for å fortsette.

Steg 3
Når iTunes er ferdig med å oppdatere iPhonen til den valgte programvaren/firmwaren, kan du starte redsnw0w.exe fra Pwnage-mappen på skrivebordet.

Steg 4
Når RedSn0w åpner, trykk på Browse-knappen

Steg 5
Velg programvare/firmware ipsw-filen som du lagret i Pwnage-mappen på skrivebordet, og trykk deretter på Open

Steg 6
Når programvaren/firmwaren har blitt verifisert, trykk på Next-knappen for å fortsette.

Steg 7
Sørg for at Cydia og Unlock er valgt og trykk på Next-knappen.

Steg 8
Neste steg er å velge plassering for bootloader-filene.

Trykk Browse og velg 3.9 bootloader-filen fra Pwnage-mappen på skrivebordet.

Trykk Browse og velg 4.6 bootloader-filen fra Pwnage-mappen på skrivebordet.

Trykk på Next-knappen for å fortsette.

Steg 9
Koble iPhonen til maskinen, og sørg for at den er skrudd AV, deretter trykk på Next-knappen.

Steg 10
RedSn0w vil nå guide/veilede deg gjennom stegene for å sette iPhonen i DFU-modus.

Hold nede både Home-knappen og Power-knappen samtidig i 10 sekunder.

Slipp så Power-knappen og fortsett å holde nede Home-knappen inntil RedSn0w detekterer enheten.

Steg 11
iPhonen vil nå restarte

Steg 12
RedSn0w vil så begynne å laste inn den nye RAM-Disken.

Steg 13
Når dette er ferdig vil du bli varslet om at RedSn0w er ferdig. Trykk på Finish-knappen.
Når iPhonen har restartet (etter ca. 5 minutter), vil den laste BootNeuter for å bli låst opp og jailbreaket, og deretter installere Cydia på SpringBoardet.

everything was alright until i tried to enter cydia and almost everything was erased. i have to jailbreak again? what do i have to do? thanks

The redsn0w 0.9.4 doesn't recognize 3.1.3. So what I did is: - in iTunes, put 3.1.3 to the phone - use redsn0w 0.9.3, browser-> load in iphone OS 3.1.2, then follow the rest ... everything works.

I have a 2G iPhone that im trying to unlock, when i follow the instruction and get to itunes it takes me to the invalid sim card. Any suggestions on how to get around it????

I got the same message on my iphone when i unlocked it. all i did was continue on with the instructions and everything worked fine once it was all said and done

Hi everyone, i have a question, hope you can help me. I have a 2G Iphone that i jailbroke with Pwnage tool to get firmware 2.2 and it works fine. I was wondering if i can i use this method to upgrade it to firmware 3 without leaving it unjailbroken or messing up the baseband? Thanks!

I unlocked my phone using the RedSn0w, everything worked perfectly. But the volume is very very low, I can barely hear the other person. I tried to download a volume patch through Cydia, but the one with the drill icon won't download, says something about size being mismatched. I tried downloading one for the 2.0 version, it download and says installed, but there's no difference. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

I'm stuck in step 2. When I open my iTunes, the restore screen doesn't come out. A box came out and says that my sim card is not compatible. What should I do? Help !!

I think if you have a fresh phone that's never been used, you can skip Step two (b/c iTunes won't connect to the phone since you don't have an AT&T sim in it). Just go straight to step 3. Hope this helps.

I unlocked the phone successfully following the steps, but cannot get connected to the internet. It shows I'm connected to my wifi at home and the little blue internet icon (the little blue fan shaped icon on the top of the screen) is on, but when I try to open Cydia or Safari, it shows there's no internet connection. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!
