The launch of the iPhone 8 will not be delayed. Apple plans to unveil the device in September and release it in October as usual, according to the the Chinese Economic Daily News.
Even as Apple launches its brand new iPhone 7, reports are building excitement for an even larger update to the smartphone that is allegedly being planned for 2017.
Jimmy Lin, a Taiwanese media star and race car driver, may already have obtained the unreleased iPhone 7 Plus. Lin has managed to accomplish this feat numerous times in the past.
Apple has purchased expensive production equipment worth tens of millions of dollars and is leasing it back to suppliers to ensure it gets the rigid flexible printed circuit boards it needs for the iPhone 8.
