Microsoft has released SP1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.

Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 helps keep your PCs and servers on the latest support level. It also provides ongoing improvements to the Windows Operating System (OS), by including previous updates delivered over Windows Update as well as continuing incremental updates to the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 platforms based on customer and partner feedback. Dont install - it disables the sleep button/functionality... I just pressed sleep and it cut power to the whole computer, losing everything I was doing - doesn't even proper shut down, just complete power cut...

The large file contains updates for 7 and Server, and there are multiple versions of the update for each OS depending on the processor in use. If you visit the actual page (or use Windows Update), you'll see the update you actually need is only around 300mb.
