A photo has leaked online which allegedly shows an iPhone A5 processor and a 1430 mAH battery for the device.
PhoneArena was tipped to the photo which appeared on Weibo and says, "It is not an iPad 2 chip, since it looks rather different, as you can see in the iFixit teardown pictures below. It bears some resemblance to the current chipset layout in the iPhone 4, but is different than the A4 as well."
It appears that the chip may be a prototype since the lettering is painted. The processor sits in a logic board that looks to be the one leaked last month. A white front panel is also connected to the logic board suggesting that perhaps this is the 'iPhone 4S'.

You obviously are not a very experienced tech. you can see some connectors have been moved from the top to the middle part of the board. also there's new pins underneath the battery connector probably for a vibrator motor or the speaker I don't know

This is not from the iPhone 4. Similar but as lol wrote the connectors are moved and it look a bit different on the top. Could be a fake

I don't like the smudges on the A of the chip...it smells like photo doctoring from here without analysing it from up close. Fake? possible... it's starting to look as the same grade as the real Apple products. If true, then it would be scary. I don't like the idea of not knowing if it's a knock-off or the real deal. Maybe it's the 4s. Who cares... as soon as I can put my hands on it (them), I'll open it and see what really what is inside. Until then....
