NeXT was founded in 1985 by Steve Jobs after being fired from Apple. The company developed and manufactured workstations for education and business markets. It also created the object-oriented NeXTSTEP operating system, a programming environment standard called OpenStep, and one of the first enterprise web application frameworks called WebObjects.
The video below is from a series called Entrepreneurs which documents the creation of NeXT. It shows Steve Jobs leading a brainstorming session where the team generates ideas and plans a future for the company.
