Mobee is showcasing its new Magic Feet recharging station for the Apple Wireless Keyboard, Magic TrackPad, and Magic Mouse at CES.

The MO4212 Magic Feet replaces the 2-AA batteries that power the Apple Wireless Keyboard or the Apple Magic TrackPad with a cylindrical battery pack that weighs only 1.34oz/38g. It replaces the 2-AA batteries that power the Apple Magic Mouse with a battery pack that weighs only 1.30oz/37g.

The Magic Feet can charge up to 3 devices simultaneously and takes 6 hours to provide a full charge from empty. Each device can last for about 10 days once fully charged. You can still use the device while its being charged.

The package includes one cylindrical battery pack for the keyboard or trackpad and one battery pack for the mouse. The Magic Feet is A/C powered and offers 4 additional USB ports. It ships early March and will be available for MSRP $149,90 (Ex. VAT) / 149,90 EUR (Incl. VAT).

Just go to apple and buy the neat very high quality rechargeable pack that has 6 batteries for 29.99. 2 batteries always stay in the charger and you'll never run out.. Plus they last way longer that "up to 10 days". Don't waste your money on crap like this

Actually, I think it's a pretty neat idea. I could certainly do without having to change rechargeables all the time, and the USB-hub is also handy for blokes like me with an ancient iMac-G4. If the price comes down a tad, they'll win my custom for certain.

And it costs more than the keyboard and trackpad (or mouse) combined. Must make sense to someone...
