12 years later, could we have an update to this? i have mp3 files which does not show audiobook as a selection

This is good tho, bc most of the times when transferring downloaded audiobook files to itunes it won't recognize them as audiobook and therefore doesn't put them in the audiobooks category. So this will make it alot easier to find it. THanks

lxp, yes you can do that, but I found that if you play a different song, then go back to it, it stars all over again.

If you want to do this for something long that isn't necessarily an audio book, such as a DJ mix, it is possible just to tick the 'remember position' box'. I found this a lot easier!
