Overdrive Design has posted some images that show how popular iPhone apps would look on a taller 4-inch screen.
With the expected launch of the new iPhone just around the corner, the gadget blogs are rife with speculation, discussion and alleged confirmations of a new 4" screen as its main feature. Some sources are suggesting a new display resolution of 640 x 1152 at an aspect ratio more fitting of HDTV content, while maintaining physical hardware dimensions similar to the iPhone 4/4s. We decided to see how some applications would benefit from the additional real estate.

Find a way to turn a iPad into an iPhone. I will carry that sucker as a phone. My desktop as a phone!!! GENIUS!!! Better yet a brick as a phone. Wait!! I want a Tungsten bar as a phone case.
If they change the screen of the iPhone they better make it wider too, because just making it taller looks like crap. I understand these are just some examples of what it may look like, but regardless, it would look shitty if they only made it taller and not wider.
There will be no such thing. Taller screen is out of the question! iClirified knows it! There will be a 4-inch screen using the same resolution as the old one.
If you haven't taken notice of the Galaxy S3 or the Galaxy Note and recognize that those are great legitimate devices that have legs to compete in terms of tech specs and usability than you are just truly a hater. I love all tech and i see other great stuff other than apple. I use to be blind as well, and that was impart due to nothing compared to the iPhone period! but now i realize that Samsung is right behind apple on the phone front and the closest competition with tablets. If apple slips even a little in the near future, they will give Samsung enough room to out maneuver concerning phones, and it could possibly end up being a back and fourth battle in the future between the 2. Im not making this up, just open your eyes Thai. And if you ask me those pics of a 4 inch screen up top is not impressive at @#$%^&* all.
blindly following and/or blindly hating are equally dumb.
Apple's UI is still smoother than any android I've picked up and android devices come out by the dozen every couple months to apple's nearly once a year.
Android does have more features but when you open the jailbreaking door to iPhone then iphone has the edge still.
This taller phone will display widescreen shows/movies more accurately and really won't hurt any game, app etc. only cause a bit of grief for some of the developers. It makes sense and should only be judged on the final product and not fabricated images.
