Apple is reportedly asking resellers to triple the space made available for iPad displays fueling speculation of an iPad mini.
MacRumors has received word from multiple Apple Premium Resellers in Europe that Apple has requested they set aside additional table space for iPad displays over the next few weeks. One of the sources specifically cites September 12 as the Apple-imposed deadline for the adjustments to be made, while another source indicates that their store is already at work on tripling the amount of display space dedicated to the iPad.
At some locations the increased space has resulted in the complete removal of Mac Pros and Mac minis from being displayed. Space for iPods and headphones are also being trimmed back.
It's unclear why exactly Apple has asked resellers to create the additional space. The obvious reason would appear to be for aniPad mini; however, Apple is also rumored to be launching a tweaked full size iPad.

3 times the size for a new iPhone 5, an new iPad mini and a revised "new" iPad (with new doc and potentially battery improvements). I'd say the extra space is justified. Especially if they're sacrificing space for their own products to accomplish it.

Triple the space for a device almost half the size. How about, halve the space?
