Apple Shares New Ad for 14-Inch MacBook Pro With M6 [Video]

Apple has shared a new ad for the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6, highlighting the laptop's performance and battery life following today's announcement.

The 53-second spot uses the shape of an opening laptop to frame scenes of people working, with cuts between code on a screen and overhead views of desks. Music is by Teezo Touchdown, while the accompanying message invites users to 'open possibilities' with the new machine.

Apple promotes up to 13 times faster on-device AI performance, up to 11 times faster graphics, and up to 24 hours of battery life. The performance comparisons are against specific M1 MacBook Pro systems, not the outgoing M5 model, and actual battery life varies by use and configuration.

The M6 MacBook Pro announced today starts at $1,999 in the U.S. and comes in space black and silver. It features a 12-core CPU and GPU, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and a Liquid Retina XDR display with an optional nano-texture finish.

Pre-orders open October 28 at 10:10 a.m. PT (1:10 p.m. ET), with deliveries and in-store availability beginning November 6.
