Apple Releases visionOS 27.2 With Siri AI Updates and SynthID Support

Apple has released visionOS 27.2 for Apple Vision Pro, adding Siri AI controls, support for identifying AI-generated images, and FaceTime accessibility features.

The update carries build number 24N120. It follows the release candidate seeded on October 19, which carried build number 24N118.

A new Excluded Apps setting lets users choose which apps Siri, Search, and suggestions can access. Siri responses also gain granular text selection, allowing users to copy just the portion of an answer they need.

Siri AI language support expands to French, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. The feature remains unavailable in mainland China.

Photos and Image Playground gain support for SynthID watermarking to help identify images generated or modified with generative tools. FaceTime also supports adding a third-party sign language interpreter or live captioner to a call.

The release includes bug fixes and security updates. Apple Vision Pro owners can install it through Settings > General > Software Update.
