Apple Shares Introduction Film for New OLED iPad mini [Video]

Apple has shared an introduction film for its redesigned iPad mini, showing the new OLED tablet in everyday use following today's announcement.

The 80-second spot moves between watching video, digital artwork, and working with multiple app windows. Onscreen graphics draw attention to the OLED display and the thinner, lighter design. The soundtrack is 'Are You Gonna Find It' by Thandii.

The new iPad mini pairs an 8.5-inch Super Retina XDR display with the A20 Pro chip in a 5.4 mm enclosure. It also adds IP67 water and dust resistance and supports Apple Pencil Pro, with optional nano-texture glass available for the screen.

U.S. pricing starts at $699 for Wi-Fi models and $849 for Wi-Fi + Cellular. Pre-orders open October 28, with deliveries and in-store availability beginning November 6.
