Apple Releases watchOS 27.2 With Siri AI Improvements and Faster Responses

Apple has released watchOS 27.2 to the public, bringing Siri AI improvements and expanded language support to Apple Watch.

The update carries build number 24S118. An initial release candidate was seeded on October 19.

Siri can now recall previous conversations, letting users ask about information from an earlier request, such as a restaurant recommendation. The assistant also delivers faster responses on the watch.

According to Apple's release notes, Siri AI can draw on more personal context, including photos attached in Messages, Calendar event attendees, and voicemails. Results from Safari history and Reading List on the paired iPhone have also improved.

A new Excluded Apps setting on the phone lets users choose which apps Siri, Search, and suggestions can access.

Language support expands to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Siri AI remains unavailable in the European Union and mainland China. The release also includes bug fixes and security updates.

To install watchOS 27.2, open the Watch app on the paired iPhone and navigate to General > Software Update. The watch needs at least 50 percent battery and should remain on its charger throughout installation.
