Apple Releases macOS 27.2 Golden Gate With Siri AI and Messages Improvements

Apple has released macOS 27.2 Golden Gate with improvements to Siri AI and new contextual suggestions in Messages. The public update carries build number 26B123.

Siri AI can retain useful context from previous interactions and draw on a wider range of personal information when responding to requests. The changes expand the assistant's ability to refer back to earlier conversations.

Messages gains Suggestions, which offer actions in apps such as Calendar and Reminders based on the conversation. The update also includes additional features, bug fixes, and security updates.

For Macs running earlier versions of the operating system, today's releases include macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, build 25G332, and macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, build 24H232. These follow the previous round of Mac updates released on September 28.

The final Golden Gate build differs from the release candidate seeded on October 19, which carried build number 26B118.
