Refurbished doesn't mean crappy. You could argue the other way around: Even partially used means, it's burned in and will likely last longer than a completely new device. Servers that lasted for multiple years will likely last even longer. Well known truth between admins.
Beside of that I bought several refurbished devices. Never had any issues and they work perfect even after >2 years.
