Google today released a new 'Google Places for Business' app for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Google Places for Business is the best way to get your business on Google and be found across Google Search, Maps, Mobile, and Google+.

Business owners can use the app to:

- Update your business information: hours, address, contact information, and description
- Post beautiful pictures of your business on your local Google+ page
