Microsoft Uses Siri to Mock the iPad, Again [Video]

Posted June 14, 2013 at 1:33am by iClarified
Microsoft has released another ad the uses to Siri to mock the iPad.

This ad compares the Dell XPS 10 with Windows RT to the iPad. Using Siri's voice it mocks the fact that the iPad's SpringBoard can't be zoomed out, that the iPad doesn't have a built-in SD Card slot, and that the iPad can't do two things at once.

Take a look below...

Microsoft makes these ads just to get more users. And guess what? They're just f*cking messing up their damn horrible company. This ad doesn't just cause trouble for other companies, it causes trouble for themselves. Microsoft is a greedy company, and they don't see all their errors in the past. They say everything's fine, but it's NOT. Don't try switching anytime later.

They try too hard to make theirs better, it's still shit that it can't be both a computer and a mobile device at the same time, it's just a separate screen and keyboard with the old related logo!

I like this commercial but not in a term of mocking up ipad. It's just funny but few unimportant features won't make me buy dell.

First MS improve the touch screen on that crap and after that you can compare it to iPad, that crap that MS is advertising it can't be compared to the first generation of iPad so we don't have to talk about iPad 2, iPad Retina or iPad Mini. Apple is the BEST I noticed that before 3 years when I got my iphone 3gs and last year I bought an Mac Book Air and I can say with those performances and capabilities in OSX, Microsoft could just bring water to Apple :) Greetings from Macedonia !!

Honestly, no matter how much they add feutures to their products, as long as they still running that shitty software it gonna be the same crap over and over again. Agree with many people from the comments below, i've never been so happy Since i met apple products.

How to advertise Microsoft products? They need Apple products. Conclusion, even Microsoft needs Apple to sell their products...

They're using exactly the same tactic as apple is famous for with its 'I'm a mac' ads. They compared directly with the competition. Actually I think it's a very clever marketing tool. Good ad.

Windows 8 tab shouldn't be compared to an iPad. iPad is running a mobile OS (iOS). Windows 8 should be compared to OSX. BTW why hasn't apple released a touch screen OSX device ?

I dont think theyll release a straight up tablet running OSX but maybe integrate it into the airs and pros eventually. I would think instead of just OSX itself they would do a OSX/iOS type interface. can't remember when but they just got granted a patent for a MacBook/iPad hybrid type device that would detach and could be used as a tablet. But from what I remember it was totally done a different way and had a different approach than the surface/ windows 8 type of devices. it would be a pro device when connected with a lot of the components intergrated into the keyboard to keep the detached display thin. when it was detached it would be an OSX/iOS type ui. Possibly being able to chose which one. And I think it was gonna be able to communicated wirelessly with the components in the keyboard. Search iclarified. That's where I read the article awhile back. Maybe 4-8 months ago.

What they don't say about that 32GB of space on the windows tablet is that you only get about 8GB of that space for storage. iPad comes with about 24-26 of the 32.

What if iPad could do 2 things at once? What if iPad could zoom out ? What if iPad could have an SD card ? iPad can, so where would that leave Microsoft ?

Actually, it can't. You must've missed the whole point of the ad.

Look, Microsoft, we don't give a shit. Windows has occasional crashes on my computer last time. Now I'm happily using my MacBook Pro. So long windows!
