too little too late! it should be open and free anyway.

initial pricing was SUCH a stupid move from Apple. they should have sucked up the R&D costs or whatever and subsidised cheap licences to allow 3rd-party accessories to proliferate and create a healthy eco-system. they could've retained quality control rights if that was their issue. this way, they guaranteed piracy and they stifled development by reputable manufacturers. equally, why *on earth* are they charging 40 bucks for a 30-9pin adapter for existing accessories?! really dumb.

Jobs logic I bet, maybe they can't break one simple promise I bet.

Now we need reduced iDevice prices a little for tmobile and wherever macs are sold.
