Apple and Barclaycard have launched a new Apple Rewards Visa card that gives you 3 points for every $1 spent at the Apple Store.
The card offers financing for purchases made at the Apple Store and earns you points each time you shop. For every 2,500 points you earn, you’ll get a $25 Apple Store Gift Card.
Card Features:
● No interest if paid in full within promo period.
Finance purchases made at Apple within the first 30 days of account opening. Promo period based on purchase amount.
● Promo period:
6 months: under $498
12 months: $499 - $998
18 months: $999 and over
● Earn reward points for every $1 spent.
Get 3 points for every $1 spent at the Apple Store, 2 points at restaurants, and 1 point on all other purchases. Earn 2,500 points, get a $25 Apple Store Gift Card.
The old card offered 2 iTunes points for each dollar spent at the Apple Store or the iTunes Store and 1 iTunes point for every dollar spent elsewhere. It also rewarded customers with iTunes Gift Cards rather that Apple Store cards. However, while the new card offers 3 points for each $1 spent at the Apple Store, iTunes purchases don't qualify.
