Apple is expected to release a new 'bezel-less' 10.9-inch iPad with the same footprint as the 9.7-inch iPad Pro with no Home button, according to a new report from Macotakara.

Despite keeping the same footprint as the 9.7-inch model, the 10.9-inch version is expected to get thicker.

According to the informed source in Taiwan, The bezel-less 10.9-inch iPad model of Apple has the same size as iPad Pro (9.7-inch), and the thickness is expanded to 7.5mm, which is the same as iPad Air.

Although the model is being called 'bezel-less', it's said to still have a bezel at the top.

Also. the whole model is not necessarily bezel-less, but the bezel is left in the top portion where the FaceTime camera is equipped, and the Home button would be also removed.

Sources also tell the site that the next 12.9-inch iPad Pro will gain an additional 3mm of thickness bringing it to 7.2mm thick.

This report follows a similar one from Barclay's which claims Apple will release three new iPads in March or 2017. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
