Bowtie for iPhone allows you to control your iPhone or iPod touch's music player from your Mac or Windows PC.
Ever wanted to pause your iPhone while it's docked on your great stereo system at the other side of your living room? Or perhaps just skip a song on your iPod touch in your pocket while you're working in front of your computer? Bowtie for iPhone and iPod touch does all of that, and more.
You need either Bowtie for Mac or Bowtie Remote for Windows to use Bowtie for iPhone. Both applications are available free of charge at http://bowtieapp.com.
You can purchase Bowtie from the App Store for $0.99.

i think this app could have more potential, its not really a full ipod replacement on your computer, all it has is play/pause, and fast forward and rewind, that is it.

Seems far more pointless than controlling your mac from your idevice. Who sits at their computer with there iPod in their pocket? And then opens an app to their computer to change song?

would be more for someone who has a docking station or has it plugged into their home theater like i do now and again, and to be able to change songs, but as others have said, there is already better free applications out there that you can do this with.
