New CAD leaks shared by EverythingApplePro allegedly reveal that Apple plans to significantly increase the size of the camera assembly on the iPhone 13.

According to the schematics, the camera bump on the iPhone 13 Pro Max will measure 37.56mm x 36.62mm. That's up from 31.79 x 34.24 on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The camera bump will also get thicker, going from 2.78mm to 3.65mm. In addition, the body of the iPhone 13 Pro Max is also slightly thicker at 7.65mm versus 7.40mm for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

It's a similar situation with the iPhone 13 mini. Its camera bump will purportedly measure 28.27mm x 28.26mm versus 25.21mm x 28.40mm for the iPhone 12 mini. The bump protrudes out 2.5mm on the iPhone 13 mini versus just 1.51mm on the iPhone 12 mini. Similar to the larger model, the phone's body also gets slightly thicker at 7.57mm up from 7.31mm.

Other notable changes include a beefier mmWave antenna window and a shifting of all side buttons towards the top of the device by a few millimetres. As previously leaks have shown, it appears that the lenses themselves could get larger and be arranged diagonally on models with two lenses.

Finally, as reported earlier, the notch is set to get smaller with the earpiece moving up into the top bezel.
