Apple's Safari Browser Now Has Over 1 Billion Users

Apple's Safari web browser now has over one billion users, making it the second browser to achieve that milestone, reports AtlasVPN.

Statistics from GlobalStats show that Safari has 1,006,232,879 internet users (19.16% of all internet users). That puts it easily in second place but still far behind Google Chrome which has over 3.3 billion users.

Safari browser now has more than 1 billion users. Apple developed browser is automatically installed on every iPhone and Mac computer. Safari has implemented several privacy features to ensure its users' security. The browser’s privacy report shows how many and which cross-site trackers Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) stopped from accessing your information.

Notably, Microsoft Edge has overtaken Firefox to become the third most popular browser with over 212 million users. Firefox is sitting at 179 million users and it's followed by Samsung Internet browser at 149 million users and Opera at 108 million.
