Apple has released firmware updates for AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Pro, AirPods 3, AirPods 2, AirPods Max, Beats Fit Pro, Powerbeats Pro, and its MagSafe Charger.

These updates are delivered automatically while your device is charging.

Firmware updates are delivered periodically while your AirPods are charging and in Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Because firmware updates are delivered automatically, you don't need to update your AirPods.

Apple's last AirPods firmware update was in April to version 5E133. Today's update is version 5E135. Unfortunately, Apple has only listed "bug fixes and other improvements" in the changelog for AirPod firmware updates.

To use your iPhone or iPad to check that your AirPods are up to date, make sure that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Go to Settings > Bluetooth, then tap the Info button next to the name of your AirPods. Scroll down to the About section to find the firmware version.

If you don't already have AirPods, there are some discounts available today.
AirPods Pro 2 - $234.95 ($14.05 off)
AirPods 2 - $99 ($60 off)
AirPods Max - $479.99 ($69.01 off)

The Beats Fit Pro and Powerbeats Pro have been updated to firmware version 5B66, up from 5B55.

The MagSafe Charger has been updated to firmware version 258.0.0, up from 255.0.0.

Notably, Powerbeats Pro are on sale for 24% off today and the Apple MagSafe Charger is on sale for 21% off.
