Best Buy Accidentally Confirms AirPods Pro 3 Ahead of Apple Event

Best Buy has accidentally confirmed the existence of Apple's upcoming AirPods Pro 3 ahead of today's 'Awe dropping' special event.

Screenshots of a My Best Buy member promotion taken by iClarified reveal a $20 reward on the new AirPods Pro 3, valid from September 9 through October 5, 2025. The offer instructions explicitly name the yet-to-be-announced earbuds, leaving little doubt that a launch is imminent.




The listing appeared in the "My Best Buy" member rewards section on the Best Buy website, where it encouraged users to activate the deal and apply it toward purchases of the AirPods Pro 3 during the promotion period.

Apple is widely expected to unveil the AirPods Pro 3 at its September 9 keynote, alongside the new iPhone 17 lineup, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and other updates. Reports suggest the next-generation earbuds could include a heart rate monitor, a redesigned charging case with new pairing controls, and possible support for live conversation translation.

The Best Buy leak marks the strongest evidence yet that the AirPods Pro 3 will debut today.
