iPad Air (M3) Drops to Lowest Price of the Year at $489.99 [Deal]

Apple's 11-inch iPad Air with the M3 chip is on sale today for $489.99, the lowest price we've tracked so far in 2026.



The deal knocks $109 off the regular $599 retail price for the 128GB Wi-Fi model. The 18 percent discount is currently available across all four color options, including Space Gray, Starlight, Purple, and Blue. While the price briefly dipped to $449 during the holiday shopping season last November, this is the best offer we've seen since the new year began.


The M3 iPad Air launched in March 2025 and brought a meaningful jump in performance over the previous generation. It's well suited for everyday multitasking and gaming, and it supports Apple Intelligence features in iPadOS. The tablet has an 11-inch Liquid Retina display with P3 wide color and True Tone, along with a landscape 12MP Ultra Wide camera with Center Stage for video calls.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E and a USB-C port capable of driving external displays. Accessory support includes the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard. Unlike the Pro models, the iPad Air continues to use Touch ID integrated into the top button for authentication and Apple Pay.

The discount arrives as reports continue to surface about Apple's future tablet roadmap. Recent leaks suggest the company plans to refresh the iPad Air with an M4 chip in 2026. Until then, the M3 version remains the current option positioned below the M5 iPad Pro.
