Ένα βίντεο που επιδυκνεύει αρχική δουλειά στην εφαρμογή του "Spirit" jailbreak από τον @comex σε iPad έχει δημοσιευτεί στο YouTube από τον MuscleNerd.

Tο "Logging into the iPad...jailbreak style" βίντεο δείχνει εντολές να εκτελούνται από το root shell του ipad.

Δεν είναι ακόμα ξεκάθαρο άν ο comex προγραμματίζει να το διαθέσει userland jailbreak τώρα ή να περιμένει μέχρι να βγει η έκδοση 4.0t.

Nice, now iPad users can.......make calls???...sorry, what's the point of Jb the iPad again???....installing cracked apps maybe?

Maybe the freedom to not be held down by being told what software we can use on our products. There are tons of great third party software apps we will never get because some monkey in a box gets to choose what I get to purchase. So we void our warranty and jailbreak and make our iphones and hopefully ipads truly our own. Keep up the great work Dev teams!!

I has iphone, i has jb iphone, iphone has to be Jb to work as a normal phone, ipad is huge femenine device for reading books in color and old school browsing, am i missing something???

Who needs a warranty that doesn't cover anything that I will break??? Hell if it breaks, eBay will be my savior ;)

OMG why is there always that guy that just has to bring up voiding the warranty? Uh, we know that and we knew that when we hacked our phones too. And guess what? We don't care.
