This year Apple used these frameworks to bring some of its own iOS apps to macOS. Coming to developers in 2019.

We've taken some key frameworks from iOS and brought them to the Mac.

We think that this question is coming from something else. Mac users have access to a rich set of native applications. But Mac users also use apps based on other technologies. ex web experiences, cross platform games. All of these platforms enrich the Mac users experience.

When you browse the web your device can be identified by its characteristics. With Mojave we're making it much harder for trackers to create a system fingerprint. Apple will make it dramatically more difficult for companies to identify your device and track you.

Protections for access to data including: Location, Contacts, Photos, Calendar, Reminders, Camera, Microphone, Mail database, Message history, Safari data, Time Machine backups, iTunes device backups, Locations and routines, System cookies.

Continuity Camera lets you access iPhone's camera from iWork applications and quickly take photos and scan documents directly via your smartphone camera.

Screenshots are now more powerful. After taken they flash at the bottom right and you can click in to Markup. There's also screen capture for video added right into screenshoting.

You can create Automator actions and assign them to quick actions inside Finder.

A new sidebar in Mojave supports full metadata.

It has a big preview up top and and set of thumbnails on the bottom. Makes it easy to preview.

There's also great new changes in Finder. A new view - Gallery View.

You can scrub stacks and select between different thumbnails then drag and drop the one you want.

Desktop Stacks. All of the content of your desktop is automatically arranged into stacks by kind by date or even by tag.

Dynamic desktop changes throughout the day.
