Apple has released the official trailer for the second season of Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars. The eight-part docuseries returns to Apple TV on Friday, September 25, with its first two episodes.
Food and travel expert Jesse Burgess is back as host, following 16 restaurants through the Michelin Guide's yearlong calendar at pivotal points in their pursuit of Michelin recognition. Apple renewed the Gordon Ramsay executive-produced series for a second season after its debut received a BAFTA Television Award nomination for Factual Entertainment.
The new season spans Great Britain and Ireland, Florida, Brazil, France, the Nordics, Germany, and California. Its subjects include Vraic and Ynyshir; Calusso, COTOA, and Stubborn Seed; Madame Olympe, Oseille, and Evvai; Mallory Gabsi and Erre; Adam Albin and Ekstedt; L.A. Jordan and tulus lotrek; and Restaurant Naides and Troubadour Bread & Bistro.
Their circumstances range from Vraic's attempt to put the island of Guernsey on Michelin's map to Adam Albin's effort to reclaim a Star after chefs Adam Dahlberg and Albin Wessman closed their previous Michelin-Starred restaurant and reopened in a larger space. In California, Restaurant Naides is pursuing its first Star with a Filipino tasting menu, while Troubadour operates as a bakery and sandwich shop by day before becoming a tasting-menu restaurant at night.
Studio Ramsay Global produces the series for Apple TV. Gordon Ramsay, Lisa Edwards, Lorraine Charker-Phillips, and Jill Greenwood serve as executive producers, with James Callum directing. The first season premiered in October 2025.
