Monad Games has announced the release and immediate availability of Rhythm Spirit 1.0, both lite and full versions of their first rhythm fighting game for iPhone and iPod touch devices. Rhythm Spirit combines music and action to create a totally unique and innovative approach to the rhythm genre. The game features stunning 2D graphics and an original soundtrack, both inspired by Japanese folklore. This story-based, action-oriented rhythm game is unlike anything currently available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Play as Toshi, a wandering swordsman who is unwittingly empowered by a mysterious fox spirit. He quickly finds himself embroiled in a bizarre and bitter conflict between the demons and deities of a world steeped in Eastern myth. Battle against ninjas, demons and a whole host of otherworldly opponents using musical cues and real-time fighting mechanics. There are ten chapters and multiple difficulties to accommodate all skill levels. The game's music consists of ten exquisite tracks featuring a unique fusion of electronic dance music and traditional Japanese instruments.
