AT&T Fires Back At Verizon With Its Own iPhone Commercial [Video]

AT&T has fired back with its own iPhone commercial after Verizon aired theirs yesterday. In this spot, AT&T brags that only the iPhone 4 on AT&T can talk and surf the web at the same time

In this Network spot, a man is working late in his office when he receives a call from his wife. When she asks about the plans for their anniversary that night, a frantic look crosses his face as he realizes he has forgotten the big night. Mid-call, he is able to pull up the browser of his iPhone and search for restaurants. Playing it cool, he talks up the night's plans while making the reservations from his phone.

Pretty weak. He would be on wifi anyway.

They said in the ad from VZW that you can Talk and Surf at the same time so this is another waste of AT&T's money....

Umm no. Idk if u misread that but it is a fundamental flaw of EVDO networks that data and phone calls cannot co exist. Cellular calls will supersede the data so of u are surfing u can still receive calls. But unless u are on wifi u cannot perform the tasks as described in this video. You would assume if u have wifi in the home that u would join, but countless users just hit cancel when that comes up because they do not bother to read it and never join a wifi network. It's just a popup getting in the way of their google search.
