Does the current carrier unlock work on 5.1 on 3GS? Or do I have to wait till ultrasn0w update is released for 5.1?

By the way 5.1 you can enable 4G on iphone4s a friend of mine showed me this morning..
Not upgrading until the 5.1 jailbreak comes out
