If there was a jailbreak Apple will triple that. They should pay someone to have their devices jailbroken, Apple sells more Iphones when the jailbreak is available. I wouldve upgrade my 3 account with all 32Gig iphone5s if there was a jailbreak I like my iphone4s for now I am not buying shit untill the jailbreak comes out.

I've always contended that Apple should quit fighting the inevitable, and simple leave a single gateway into their devices specifically for Jailbreakers. That way, if someone wants to jailbreak it, and screw up their 'warrenty', they can, but then they won't have everyone working so hard to uncover all of Apple's vunerabilities. It would also allow anyone who doesn't want to JB to 'shut off' the Jailbreaking vulnerability making their devices MORE secure. It would be a win-win for everyone!

Maps on ios6 is a completely different issue than iphone5. I have 4s with ios6. First off, maps controversy is overblown. Works fine for me. I don't listen to turn by turn directions and turn off the road into a river when it says to. If its that important to you, spend some money on a real GPS app. The ios6 was free so don't complain. Plus it will improve. To not buy an updated phone because the iOS has "inferior" map program is ridiculous.

New Zealand has lots of unsold iPhone 5's Vodafone and telecom only allowing them to be sold with a contract, nobody is buying them

Haven't checked the Aussie iPhones (assuming NZ and Australia have similar situations), obviously, but what I suspect is happening is that Apple is building each phone to ONLY work for a specific 4G network (hence the tie-in). However, if you're willing to pay the non-contract price $650-850, then you CAN run it on ANY 3G network, which makes sense, since it DOESN'T support the 4G available in Australia, anyway.

Stats like this can be very misleading if not read carefully. ~1 in 3 32% Consumer is a combined Info of 19% and 13% if you combine 10% and 11.5% of 4S its 21.5% then it doesn't look almost double anymore Does it?? 32% from 21.5%, a sharp increase no doubt but not close to Double in demand. Now if you Look at the Problem of Antena and Maps comparison, Antena Problem was a Hardware/Design issue, PROVEN FACT still 64% said they had no Problem at all. I guess they were all Holding it Right Way. No Problem with the Maps does not Surprise me. iPhones biggest buyers are still either not of age to Drive or still to own a car that would need to use the Map. the 3%er and 6%er and 1%er combined 10% of the users who are getting lost Left Right and Centre [somewhat Literally] are the actual people using the Map. even as a total, 1 in 10 that is about Half a Million [10% of 5m units sold] users Mostly in North America are UNHAPPY. to me thats something Apple should take into consideration before they decide to do Premature Radical Changes.

I personally think you are blowing out of proportion the whole map issue. even out of those 10% what were they doing before their Iphone 5. They either had another GPS program(and still do most likely) or knew how to get to the locations they were getting to or can find a alternate way to get there. I believe most people who are having the maps issue would rather have that issue than their phone dropping calls. As for the whole 32% vs 21.5% vs. doubling is just mincing words. it's clear they were looking at the 19% vs. 10% which is practically doubled. And either way a 10% increase is quite impressive, especially with the galaxy S III coming out at around the same time and the number of people who are switching to android.

I think a better question would be: Would you already HAVE an iPhone 5 if you were able to purchase it? ;)

even better question why crapple mistreats customers declining some to purchase crapple devices. First the mafia like agreement for years with AT&T and now lack of unlocked iphone operating worldwide LTE bands. Obviously for crapple some customers are better than others. The fact is that Apple works with specific vendors because most people would rather NOT pay $650 to $850 for a phone, so they allow the mobile venders to help offset it. As for 'unlocking', it's a known fact that EVERY iPhone 5 IS unlocked (for 3G), but that they have to build a different phone for each 4G network. Android doesn't have this issue, since each phone is built for a different network anyway. BTW, your attempt to inject "racism" into the argument--especially since I'm SURE you aren't an 'ethnic minority' is like FOX constantly saying anything they oppose is 'the new holocaust'! Some things you don't get to claim unless you've personally experienced it.

NoGoodNick, you are absolutely correct my friend. It's amazing how many companies have been hired by Samsung, Google, etc to get on any internet forum they can and spam the boards. It's just as bad as review tampering for App Store apps in the Android and iOS App stores. My brother's girlfriend made about 15$/hr sitting behind a computer screen from 9-5 bashing or endorsing products all over the internet. It makes me sick that these people that these people support themselves in such a deceiving way. The paid internet TROLLS are REAL and only serve as a confusion for what is good/bad in today's society of technology.
