Apple Daily has posted a video that shows the scratch resistance of the iPhone 5C's plastic shell.

The site notes that the new low-cost iPhone has a length, width and thickness that are slightly larger than the iPhone 5. As can be seen in the video below they took measurements of iPhone 5C which indicate a length of 124.55mm (mm), width of 59.13mm, and thickness of 8.98mm. Compare that to the iPhone 5 with a length of 123.8mm, width of 58.6mm, and thickness of 7.6mm.

Apple Daily also notes that rear shell of the iPhone 5C is scratch resistant.

Sources estimate, iPhone 5C may be as high hardness 8H (surface hardness of 8H, referring to the market than about three times the PET film is reinforced, it is generally the blade and the key will not scratch the surface). "Apple" to scratch the car key test case, and the rear panel and car keys, coins and other items thrown into a plastic bag and rolling test backplane were no scratches.

Take a look at the video below for more details.
