Samsung Mocks iPad Air in New 'Pencil' Commercial [Video]

Samsung has just posted a 'pencil' ad of its own, mocking the original and the Apple iPad Air. The Samsung ad notes that the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is thinner than the iPad Air and can multitask.

Doing two things at once is greater than doing one thing at once. It's time you redefine multitasking.

If pencils matter which the screen is big enough for thumbs, just buy one for $2 for ipad, like it's much progress for shamesung. They love to win over small things. "the next big thing AFTER apple" at its finest.

It's an extremely simple commercial, but also... Extremely jealous... It can be used to knockoff another... or finish this company... It has transformed the way these guy think, learn to make something already done... it's been nowhere. Introducing, the wannabe, copier, and thoughtless Samsung corporation.

This is how you know samsung is hurting, I don't think I've yet to even see anyone actually using a newer Galaxy tab 10.1, I bet everyone at apple is laughing their asses off at this and are just like "keep the pencil, you'll need it to draw up plans for your next copy"

In time Apple will catch up. They are purposely holding back on features to capitalize on revenue. We all know that. This isn't a shocker at all. The galaxy tablets are getting much better in my opinion, however I still prefer my iPad over its competitors.

Not exactly true. Apple don't choose components based on cost at all. They choose the best for the overall experience. The very latest components have the largest trade offs- be that size, power consumption, processor use, reliability or support. This is the reason Apple holds back on using the absolute latest components. Cost is a very low priority to Apple if they think if will improve the experience. Android manufacturers on the other hand are desperate to appear at the cutting edge and to have the perception of being innovative due to the high competition in that space.

@chris What has apple every been behind in, if they are holding back on features, what makes you think they come in too late when shamesung's the one who turns to apple just to evolve trying to be them? "We" all know that? Come on. The gaylaxy tab isn't that good, I loved my ipad since the beginning! I have the air and couldn't be any better.I @f1982 how are components trade offs and since when did apple ever hold back on the best components, every competitor is necessary to improve before using it, if apple wasn't doing hot today, they would be struggling to find the components. And so what if things are expensive, I still get money worth buying it, plus it's something that is winning which I don't mind paying this much for.
