Samsung has posted a new ad in which it takes to the streets of New York City asking people to compare the Galaxy Tab S and the iPad Air.

We asked people on the streets of New York City to take the Galaxy Tab S for a test drive. Check out what they had to say.

The ad ends by declaring the Galaxy Tab S as 'Thinner. Brighter. Lighter.' than the iPad Air.

It's obvious the J.D. Power award winning magnet as usual, Apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Even if they made it as thin as paper, it would still have one fundamental problem...it's not an apple.

Even if most picked Samsung which would be hard to believe its funny how they never show the ones that picked the other.

I experienced it at my best buy, I opened the the Play Store, then put it down. Useless stretched out crappy apps. No thanks, I'll stick with my iPad that works and does everything.

Exactly, if anyone can tell me how to prevent apps from hogging on startup(major battery fuck) without losing warranty I'll buy it LOL

Actually, hardware-wise, this thing may well be a lot better than the iPads, which are getting pretty ancient. (Although I wonder what they gave away in battery life for that cool thinness...) That said, I've been burned on both Android and iPad tablets (especially Android) and since I'm tired of not being able to access large portions of the web, my next tablet will be one running full Windows, so it's actually Internet capable. I will not spend one more dollar on a tablet that can't even be a decent browser...

Puffin browser works fine if you are talking about flash(only on iOS).

It may be thinner lighter brighter but good hardware is useless without a good user interface...
